Bob graduated from St. Mary’s Cathedral High School and earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Detroit. While teaching in a Catholic elementary schools je earned a Michigan Teaching Certificate, taking classes at SVSU. In 1993 he became a Chartered Financial Analyst through the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts in Charlottesville, VA.
He has had several careers – Catholic School Teacher, Assistant Store Manager and Buyer for a building materials retailer, Stock Broker, and Investment Portfolio Manager for individuals, and trusts.
Bob and his wife Cathie have 2 married daughters and 5 grandchildren. They are long-time members of St. John Vianney Parish in Saginaw Township where both serve as Eucharistic Ministers. Bob is also a LEctor and previously served on the Parish Finance Commission.
