“…by partnering with established agencies serving the communities’ poor and underserved, we are able to quickly and effectively make a huge difference in people’s lives.” – Director of Christian Service in Saginaw, Terry Grierson
Preserving the dignity of the poor and vulnerable – the Koncavich sisters, devoted members of St. Stanislaus Kosta Church, made this their life’s work. Through the endowment fund in their name, others continue the sisters’ legacy of loving care, supporting more than 20 agencies in the 11 counties of the Saginaw Diocese.
Director of Christian Service in Saginaw Terry Grierson, says donors to this fund are helping to meet the very basic needs of a diverse group that also includes the working poor and seniors with low monthly incomes.
“The Koncavich sisters wanted to help people help others. With this fund, our donors focus on needs that require immediate attention – basics like food and shelter. And by partnering with established agencies serving the communities’ poor and underserved, we are able to quickly and effectively make a huge difference in people’s lives.”
