Judge John C. Shaffer was an honorable Justice and a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Parish in Gladwin, Michigan. His life was all about service. He served in the military and service in the judicial system in Gladwin County. He maintained a passion for the poor and needy through out his life. The Judge John C. Shaffer Advised Fund for Sacred Heart Parish of Gladwin was established in loving memory of Judge Shaffer and his love and compassion for the needy of Gladwin County. The fund will be used to assist the needy of the community without regard to the recipients religious, racial, or ethnic background.
