Donor Advised Fund
With a Donor Advised Fund, make deposits at any time and immediately receive tax benefits. Then, when you are ready to disburse your fund, simply notify the Catholic Community Foundation which causes you would like to donate to. Download our Guide to Donor Advised Funds.
Designated Fund
A Designated Fund is an advised fund whose beneficiary organization has been specified by the donor(s) at the time of the gift. Growth from the fund, and in some cases the principal, is distributed in accordance with the instructions provided at the time of the gift.
Granting Fund
A Granting Fund is designated to a broad cause in order to meet the evolving needs of your community. You can name a variety of areas, including Catholic education, seminarians, or the poor and vulnerable. The Catholic Community Foundation’s management of the fund includes the Grant Committee’s review of applications and recommendations for grant awards.
Scholarship Fund
Scholarship Funds are designed to help students with the cost of tuition. You can establish a general scholarship fund, a fund in a loved one’s memory, or a fund to support students studying a specific subject. The Catholic Community Foundation’s management of the fund includes awarding scholarships to students and distributing the award directly to the recipient’s school.
