Maureen Becker

President

Maureen hopes to bring an educational perspective to the CCFMM Board. Though now retired, she served as principal and teacher at St. Brigid School from 1990-2019. Maureen earned a B.S. degree from the University of South Dakota and continued her education at both Central Michigan and Saginaw Valley State Universities.

She feels as an educator with over thirty-five years experience in Catholic education, she will be able to help guide some of the decisions involving CCFMM funds for our diocesan Catholic schools and religious education programs.

Maureen and her husband Mark are long time members of St. Brigid of Kildare Parish in Midland. They have 3 grown children and 4 grandchildren.

With family living all over the United States, Mark and Maureen love to travel. She also enjoys reading and studying family history, making those long lost connections.

Maureen joined the Catholic Community Foundation of Mid-Michigan Board of Trustees in 2019.

“Part of living my Catholic Faith is serving others. By becoming a part of the CCFMM board, I feel I can continue to share my talents beyond my parish to help others throughout the diocese.”
