CCFMM is pleased to partner with the Office of Catholic Schools to offer the following high school scholarship opportunities.
Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee, the superintendent of Catholic Schools (when appropriate). Recommendations of the selection committee(s) must be approved by the CCFMM’s Grant Committee as well as by the CCFMM Board prior to any distribution.
Application submission deadline February 26th 2021
Second round of applications deadline April 16th 2021
Disbursements from advised funds require approval from the donor designated advisor / advisees. The CCFMM cannot guarantee that each advised fund will have annual distributions. Applicants are welcome to apply for any/all advised funds in the event funding is/becomes available.

Nouvel Specific Scholarships
The Martin Gembrowski Family Advised Fund for Catholic School Education – Renewable
To fund education scholarships for students to attend Nouvel Catholic Central High School.
The Francis R. Reh Memorial Scholarship
Student’s affiliated with a Catholic Parish.
The Jane M. Meeker Scholarship
Students in good standing of St. Mary Cathedral Church.
The Kate & Dan Zielinski Memorial Scholarship
Incoming freshman students from St. Josaphat Parish. Students must be registered at Nouvel Catholic Central High School. Students must be deemed living and sharing the Christian ideals and values of respect and responsibility; Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5; Must be involved in extracurricular activities directly related to school and church; Students must write a thank you note to the Zielinski family.
The Lillian and Harold Wagner Living Memorial Scholarship – Renewable
Must Demonstrate Financial Need
Scholarship for students and incoming students of Nouvel Catholic Central, who have a minimum GPA of 2.5; deemed living and sharing Christian ideals and values of respect and responsibility; truly demonstrate financial need. The Scholarship is renewable.
The Shannan Marie Thompson Memorial Scholarship
Must Demonstrate Financial Need
A scholarship to be awarded to a graduating St. Thomas Aquinas grade school student who is going to Nouvel Catholic Central High School with a 2.25 GPA. One student each grade level.
The Marguerite L. Jochen Memorial Scholarship
Must Demonstrate Financial Need
Scholarships of $400 awarded annually for students who are accepted and enrolled at NCC. Financial need will be a factor. Must demonstrate Christian values, scholastic achievement, and leadership potential; eligible to reapply so long as GPA of 2.5 is maintained. Desire to support four (4) students per year, one at each grade level.
The Timothy C. McInerney Scholarship
Must Demonstrate Financial Need
For students registered at Nouvel Catholic Central who are graduates of a Catholic grade school and who have the recommendation of the staff at that grade school with an average GPA, financial need and an interest in Science/biology.
The Smith Family Scholarship
Must Demonstrate Financial Need
To fund scholarships to the other Saginaw Area Catholic Schools. To be determined by the Family.
Parish Specific Scholarships
The Val and Julie Kostrzewa Scholarship
For Catholic school high school education for students who are St. Josaphat parishioners.
St. Mary School Alma Specific Scholarships
The Olszewski Family Memorial Scholarship
Students who hope to attend St. Mary School in Alma, MI. Applications for the scholarship will be prescreened and selected by a committee consisting of St. Mary’s pastor, principal, and business manager.
