Mary Jane and Henry Charles (Charlie) Stroemer had a deep love for the Catholic Church and the Diocese of Saginaw. They believed that the church could only continue with the development of more priests, seminarians and other members of the various religious orders and, at the same time, provide for the retiring religious.The Mary Jane and Henry Charles Stroemer, Jr Endowment Fund for Seminarians, Priests, and Religious was created to provide funding in support of the continuous process of developing new members of religious orders. The purposes of this fund is: To assist in the retirement needs of priests and religious of The Saginaw Diocese; and, to assist in the educational needs of seminarians and religious of The Diocese of Saginaw.
