The Sr. Bernita Catholic Education Endowment Fund was created in 2007 in honor of Sister Bernita Ligney, a tireless teacher of youth at Visitation Parish in Bay City, Michigan. Her passion was teaching young children how to read and write. The purposes of the Sr. Bernita Catholic Education Endowment Fund are: Religious Programs for Visitation Parish; and for any other Catholic educational needs for the children of Visitation Parish.
