Philomena Marie Falls was passionate about ensuring that St. Denis (formerly Ave Maria Parish) provided meaningful and varied ways to help parishioners. She created the Philomena Marie Falls Endowment Fund to help keep programs alive. The purpose of the fund is to provide assistance to programs that are not supported through the church’s normal budget. They are as follows: to provide Church Camp scholarships for children of the parish; to supplement the Church’s library; to support special mission projects; to provide aid for parishioners who are assisting in building and repairing housing in North and Central America; to provide funding for religious education; and to provide scholarships for parishioners of St. Denis Church in Lexington, Michigan.
